The Cooper pairs in superconducting condensates are shown to acquire a temperature-dependent dc magnetic moment under the effect of circularly polarized electromagnetic radiation. mechanisms this inverse Faraday investigated within simplest version phenomenological dynamic theory for superfluids, namely, time-dependent Ginzburg-Landau (GL) model. light-induced is be strongly affected by nondissipative oscillatory contribution order parameter dynamics, which appears due nonzero imaginary part GL relaxation time. relevance latter quantity Hall state allows us establish connection between direct and phenomena.
